It's free money for the dealer and you don't have to have it in your possession. The dealer can look you up in the dealer system and if you're in there you get the cash no coupon needed at the time of the paper signing.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Has anyone done a lease with the group buy? We have to because of work. I was just wondering if it worked out with Koons. I saw some information in the beginning of this thread about the availability, but have not seen anything about anyone actually getting a lease.

We know nothing about them as we have always bought our vehicles, but my husband's company has requested he lease it even though he drives 30,000 a year. Are leases available from dealers with this type of high mileage? His company uses Enterprise most of the time, but they are quoting a totally different configuration then we want and a much higher price.

My understanding is that the mailers certificates have been sent for q2 and that the next batch will go out q3. Also, I also believe that not everyone who signs up for the brochures actually gets a mailer certificate. It's apparently random.

I rec'd mine in June just before I ordered with Nader. He said that they would honor it but I don't pick up my vehicle until August so we'll see.

I would like to first thank everyone who was involved in setting up this great deal. I have recently contacted Nader about ordering a 2014. Not sure if some of the deal has changed but the price I was giving wasn't quite 7% more like 6.5% and I was told that if you wanted to order a vehicle that wasn't on the lot. You would have to pay an additional 400. This is still a great deal but I just wanted to everyone to be aware of the changes.

What was your order? I know V8 prices have gone up. I do think they require a deposit for factory order. Maybe some of the guys who set this up can chime in.

According to this document CHrysler Capital allows you to purchase additional mileage if you do 15k mile/y lease at $0.20/mile rate. Another option is to return the vehicle with excess mileage, then you will be charged $0.25/ mile. It can be higher than the enterprise price. I am not an expert this is my first lease too I am just quoting whats in Chrysler Capital brochure.

I was ordering the Summit V8 with no options. I also asked for the price of the Summit V6 and it was a couple hundred higher and had the added 400 if I wanted to factory order. It seems as though they want to push the vehicles they have off of their lot, which is understandable. Don't get me wrong even at a couple hundred higher this is still a pretty good deal. I live in between Baltimore and DC and I couldn't find any deal to even come close to this price so this is still a great deal. I just wanted to inform everyone of the changes.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Picked up my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo tonight from Koons. Nader came in on his day off for the delivery. Everything went very smoothly. Can't say enough about how professional and accommodating that Nader is. Please treat him well. I redeemed my $500 Jeep mail certificate which made the deal even sweeter. To top it off, ran into Big Wave who was there with another Jeep Garage member. Great chatting with you Big Wave and thanks again for helping setting up this deal.

It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with you and your wife, Dan. I am very excited for you and the other GB members who have been able to take advantage of the agreement.

I concur - Nader is professional and I certainly had a good experience working with him. Tonight I was with a friend who experienced some miscommunication along the way in his process, but in the end and now that he's driving it, he is enjoying the truck.

Looking forward to hearing about your truck Dan.
