Sad you can't get that with the Laredo E.
I had Sirius Travel Link and Traffic free for a year on my 2012 Overland, and had no intention of renewing. I found little value for it. $4,000 is a lot of money too.

I can't speak for everybody else, but I am looking to finalize this week -- by Friday if not sooner. Does that work for everybody else?

If all agree, we would need to let the dealership we choose to go with know who all is involved with the group. I think the easiest way would be to send an email to the dealer with the contact list of all those who will be ordering from them. I propose to cc all of you in the email. For those that have already committed, please PM me contact info you're willing to share in the email to the dealer (email address, phone number...). And for those that haven't committed, please let me know for sure if you're in, I suppose by PMing me the same info.

Thanks to all for joining in.

What dealer(s), or at least area's are the dealers in? If I'm only saving a couple hundred bucks - I won't drive to say the Baltimore area as I'm in Southern Maryland. It's just not worth the time to make multiple trips, unless it can all be done via email and phone other than once the vehicle comes in for pickup.

I'm in for next week as well to at least get my order in.

At the moment, I've heard from Farrish in Fairfax, which guaranteed the 5%/6% deal. And I am waiting to hear back from Safford Jeep in Fredericksburg if they can beat that. Have emails to other dealers but haven't heard back.

I am in except for the fact that I would like to drive what I'm buying before I agree to order or make a hard commitment. Seeing how the CRDs won't be available for a few weeks now and most dealers are still waiting for the first wave of 6/8 cylinders to come in, I'm not sure when exactly that will be.

I like the idea that was posted earlier about providing a contact list of who is interested and also provide a timeframe (30, 45 days or something) in which to place an order. It seems like there are a lot of folks looking at the CRDs and it may be worth having a window and not just an end date of next week. I'm not sure about anyone else but $40+ grand is a lot to throw down and commit to without ever seeing/driving something in person.

I would suggest those that want different models that are not in production yet to setup a couple different group buys, so we could have a couple different groups going in with the same type of % deal.

I'm sure there are a few people ready now to purchase models already in production. I'm one of them - I'd love to have a diesel, but I just don't think it's in the cards. Maybe I'll change my mind while I wait.

Agree this is significant money and fully appreciate your wanting to know what you're getting. What the Farrish dealer (Miguel) indicated is all that he would need from the folks interested is a letter stating their intent to order from them. I will check with the other (Al in Fredericksburg) to see if the same would work on his end. I did let both know that some in our group were keen on the CRD and we all knew the timeframe for those was further out.

I got the impression that a separate buy wouldn't be necessary -- a commitment to buy from the dealer once your specific need (CRD, Lux II, whatever) came available was the important factor. We're all going to be ordering and waiting some period of time once that order is in. Much like those that ordered in mid-January are now slowly starting to see their trucks roll in, we'll be looking at a similar wait time.

Even better.. Keep me informed, I think I'm on the same timeline as you - I just need to decide between the E and Limited model.

Glad to know it doofoo.

All, attached is the updated sheet. If I count right, we're at 11 but still looking for more. If anybody knows anybody interested, tell them to sign on up with us.

Guys I just came to Koons to look at the colors since we've got some sun today. The sales manager just confirmed 7% under invoice if we can guarantee 10 or more. I'm working on getting all details and confirming their invoice pricing as we speak. Will update later.

Annapolis, Baltimore, Virginia? Which Koons?

I just hope these deals are straight forward with no bs. Getting 10 people to wait around when they are purchasing a vehicle is difficult.

What exactly does Koons want from the 10 members wanting to purchase? I know that I'd be pretty upset if I commit, and they change the terms - or say we only get 9 members and they try to tell me it's only going to be 1% under invoice or some dirty business like that I'll walk and go somewhere else even if it's more expensive.
