So, is this what I should expect to see as a price quote?

V6 Overland $43,940 (invoice) per Trucar.com
Tech Package $1598 (invoice)
$499 Dealer processing
Total $46,037
Then take 7% from that = $42,814.41
Of course this does not include the taxes and title.

The $995 destination fee comes in before the 7% if I remember correctly. So take invoice, then add the 995 destination, then take off 7%.

I'm 95% sure your final price should be:

Invoice + Destination ($995) - 7% + Dealer Processing Fee ($499) + TTL

Here's the formula: ((invoice+995)*.93) + $499

Essentially it's truck and buyer-selected options at invoice price, plus $995. From that subtotal subtract 7%. Then add t/t/l/$499 dealer processing. If you're interested, PM me your email address and I'll connect you with the folks we're working with.

Didn't realize you'd come down from diesel cloud 9 yet. Well, welcome back! Have you gotten the emails from Jeep yet with the VOTS link? REmember to get in touch with Marlon and Chevy to make sure they take care of your truck whilst on the line.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Nader has proven again and again his commitment to the GB with outstanding service. I'm glad Only1Tobin connected with him.

It's not only been the dealership that deserves credit -- members of this GB have stuck together throughout, including quickly remedying the few situations that arose early on. Thanks to all.

We took Amtrak to Washington and from Union Station took the Metro to the Dunn Loring Metro station where Nader picked us up. The train ride itself was a fun experience. Having breakfast in the dining car as we rolled through the northern Virginia countryside was delightful.

What a great car buying experience. Nader ( who by the way came in on his day off to deliver our car) called just as we got off the train to give us directions as to which metro line and station to use then called again to just before we arrived at Dunn Loring station to tell us he would be out front. As we walked out of the station Nader was pulling up-perfect timing.

When we got to the dealership our Overland was sitting out front, spotless and full of gas. Nader asked us to look it over carefully to make sure we were happy before going in to do the paperwork. I did so and found none of the issues that have been previously reported. Fit and finish were just about perfect to my eye.
The best description I can think of regarding the paperwork process is "No Drama". All the paperwork reflected exactly what we agreed upon. We signed the paperwork, handed over a check, Nader installed our license plates, we shook hands and left. Nader was heading home to spend the rest of his day off with his son. For the life of me I can not understand why all dealers don't operate like this.

With about 300 miles on our new Jeep so far everything is performing flawlessly. The Uconnect works fine, the transmission shifts are as smooth as silk and the V6 has all the power that we need. As long as this continues we will indeed be happy Jeep owners.

Thanks again to everyone that facilitated the group buy program.
