Nadar told me that is what is charged. I am registering in michigan with a 6% sales tax. Build up comes to $50,285,10. The tax should be $3,017.11 right? I'm being charged $3133.38 in sales tax instead.

It maybe the $499 additional processing fee that the customer must pay. All vehicles sold in VA are subject to it.
No, it's not the $499 fee. Hee has that clearly marked in his quote he gave me via email.

Is the additional amount a registration fee tacked in by the State?

I dont think so. I'll have to ask him about it again when I call him. I'll let you know what he said afterwards.

Are Jeep GC SRTs included in the group buy?

They may not be familiar with Mich taxes such as the case was for me. When they did my contract they had me at 7% Pa state tax and it is actually 9% for lease's In Pa. When I got my first statement from Chrysler Capitol it was $7 more a month then what I was quoted from Koons. CC adjusted my payment to include the additional 2% Koons left off. No big deal.

Nader just told me that there is a county fee for selling it at their location. Has nothing to do with my state tax apparently.

That exactly what I paid a couple of weeks ago. He stated the same thing because of the county fee. If you are worried about the price, try to find another location who will even come close. I only had luck with another dealer who was willing to beat their deal on the last day of the month but I had to buy something on their lot and they didn't have what I wanted.

Oh, so you settled for a jeep you didn't want huh? Well I bit the county fee and put my order in. Going for an Summit 4x4, ecodiesel, deep auburn, brown interior and engine block heater. I guess I'll be waiting a while though like the rest of the gents on the diesel thread..

I would like the brown interior as well. Whenever I go to Koons site, all their summits on the lot have black interior. I know back is almost like a default color for a lot of people, but out of the four granite summits they have you would think one of them would be brown interior?

Anyway, congrats on your incoming new ride.
