I check this forum about 5 times a day now because I am so excited for the new Jeep. I have already cleaned out my 4runner and got it ready to trade in.
So figured the action has really declined a lot lately and wanted to make a new thread and hopefully get people excited again. We are only days away from the Month when they are supposed to be on the lot.
I can't wait to hear from anyone who knows of dates they will be coming in etc.

Oh Man! Now it really starts. That's a pretty nice one. Can't wait to see an Overland. My 06 Overland is feeling pretty old right now

It's strange that the guy said that it's "not drivable." Wonder why not.
He described the air suspension, whereas the car obviously doesn't have it.
The engine sounds like a thrashing machine!

"not drivable" referred to the fact he had the remote start running. He had to push Start Stop button in order to put the vehicle in "drive mode"

I wonder if "not drivable" is because there is an embargo on test drive reports.

Milous,
Why does the key still have the IR part on it like the 2010? It is push button go so where does that key end go?

The Start button is removable, allowing the use of the IR key instead if so desired.

I saw that too......It is a Hemi engine I guess. I think I will test drive the V6 first to see what kind of power it has on tap.

12.3 mpg is just delivered off the truck, driven around the lot, idled and probably a test ride by the employees. Not the usual mpg stuff.

X 2 and it also probaly had the AC blasting too. That jeep will get an average of 16 mpg I bet.

Just had my dealership call me and they said there is going to be big jeep event at Great America in Gurnee, IL towards the end of the month. They will be allowed to bring back one jeep and then should have jeeps on the lot early July.
