The comments you quote from the district manager was probably at that time because you had only had a couple visits and had not met that threshold yet. I certainly would be pissed in your position, but my goal would be to get it resolved as quick as possible. What would I do? I think I would really press the issue with the service manager and have him push it with the district manager. I think a lawyer sending a letter to Chrysler would probably get pushed to their legal dept and in my opinion could actually slow down the process. In the end I'm sure it will get resolved either way, but I was just thinking about what would be quicker. As I said before I could be totally wrong but this is just what I think.
Sure. I don't want to hijack this thread so this is my last word on it here, but as I mentioned in my jeep thread, I did consider that the letter might be the issue. I guess I just have to continue to be as patient as I can. Some days I am better at that than others. Today was just a really bad day in that regard. I just want what I am paying for.

Re: Dealer Says My Summit May Be Sent Back to JNAP for Re-Inspection ?!

Starting to get really frustrated myself, my hold was released and four days later, no apparent progress. The delays themselves are bad enough (though somewhat understandable), but the lack of information from anyone involved just seems like bad business. Why would you keep the customer completely in the dark on such a significant purchase?

Re: Dealer Says My Summit May Be Sent Back to JNAP for Re-Inspection ?!

Wow, talk about Perfect Timing - I just got my $500 Bonus Cash Coupon in Yesterday's mail 6/4 and I pick up my Summit tomorrow 6/6 !!

My Dealer knew about it before I did - he ran my name on Monday 6/3 and called me to say I had the $500 Bonus Cash registered in my name !!

He also got me 0.00% Financing from Chrysler Credit - you can't beat "Free Money" !!

So....I hate to say it.....but perhaps it's "Fate" that my Jeep was "Held" for a week to push my Delivery to June for these 2 Deals !!

I believe there were some bigger problems Hence the push back on orders opening this month. I think that everyone was scrambling to correct things and often this means a failure in communications. Not an excuse. Just the way it happened.

I'm going to the mailbox now for the coupon. I don't think I'm on the list.

When is it valid until?

I got mine in the mail a couple days ago too. My jeep was delayed and it should get here either this week or next. The coupon expires August 31st.
