For the past month I have been anxiously waiting for my new Summit and Tracking it's status from JNAP to New Jersey. Estimated delivery was showing 5/24 and most recent tracking from last week shows:

After seeing it get off the train last Tuesday 5/21 and with a estimated delivery date of 5/24 I was planning to go pick it up this week before the end of May !!
today I talked to my Dealer and he said JNAP has put a "HOLD"
on the delivery and requested my Jeep remain at the Pennsylvania Rail Yard pending "Further Inspection" by the plant due to a "Pending Quality Issue" that needs to be re-checked on a certain production run !!
He said Jeep is checking into this issue to determine how many Jeeps may be affected and the best way to re-inspect all of them as they are all over the Country. The "quick option" is having a QC Tech fly in to this Rail Yard to inspect the Jeep where it sits now, but the "long option" is having it SENT BACK BY TRAIN to JNAP for re-inspection which could take Several WEEKS
for the roundtrip !!
Obviously I have No Way to confirm any of this and have no idea what the issue may be, I can only go by what the Dealer told me today. I'm very disappointed and frustrated - but at the same time I want my Jeep to be Right the First Time !!
Has anybody ever heard of this happening ?
Any suggestions on how I can check the current status and what the problem may be ?
