I too, in looking at the ads from HB didn't think they were at the level I was hearing about, a little less than a full % from invoice before haggling. I told Richie at HB Jeep that I was very surprised his prices were the highest of any dealer I've talked to so far. Got a couple that are in the 2-3% below invoice range. Just hoping I can still beat that. What part of socal are you in? Might have some added leverage if we can both buy from the same guy same time? The 20th sounds great to me. I'm not inany hurry but will pull tthe trigger if I can get a good deal.

Guys, my understanding is that the end of the month, and especially the end of the year are the best time since dealers need to hit sales quotas... I wouldn't be surprised if Jan/Feb are the worst months to a buy a new car if you're shopping for a deal.

New 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee For Sale in Orange County & Huntington Beach, CA
it showed for $30,000. The first one that popped up was the Laredo. They don't have the specific one I'm looking for and not all the prices are that cheap.

Makes sense. Too bad I'm not quite ready to buy mine yet.

Seems like the prices are all over the place. Just looked again at HB website and there are a handful of 4x4 Overland with advanced tech and Hemi for 44k. That's a great deal. But they are all black and white color. I wanted blue or max steel. The one max steel they have is 49k. 5k for the color choice??

Make the trip to Texas and drive back. Save at least $2500, and the drive back will be less than $600. That $1900 in your pocket for a few days of a mini vacation.

Yeah that's a big difference for a color choice. Looks like that one is a diesel for 49k. Keep checking around. I'm sure they get other colors with the Hemi and maybe they'll get the price close. Same cost to them.

Wsoldier is right about getting a better deal toward the end of the month. That dealer from the radio broadcast that was posted on here last month did everything possible to close deals on the last day of the month to hit quota and get their bonus.
