Decal location opinion

Most members when they remove the chrome mldgs and apply the grand cherokee badge they follow the oem below the bodyline location. I decided to go above the bodyline and try something different i really like the outcome even the stealership liked it when i went in for service

Re: Decal location opinion

I would not have even put the GC badge back on, looks much better without any badges or stick on chrome.

Re: Decal location opinion

looks weird...the chrome strip always acts like a door ding protector from other idiots too.

Its obviously one of those personal opinion things, but after I removed my chrome moulding I thought the side of the Jeep looked way too plain without anything there. I think something for sure needs to be in that area as it just didnt look right with nothing there.

As for door dings without moulding there, I personally always park my Jeep carefully so dings so far arent a big deal. If your not careful with where you park a ding is going to happen eventually regardless if that chrome moulding is there or not. I have been driving for 16 years and have never gotten a door ding. Its all about how and where you park.

To the OP, I personally do not like it located right there. Now its kind of aiming up since its on that rounded area. I like it in the original spot, but thats just me.

Mongoose9400 is an unknown quantity at this point
I'm a debadged sleek look kinda guy. I also agree it looks out of place in that location. Either way, your Jeep and if you like it disregard our opinions. You can't learn without trying and thanks for posting pics for others.

Re: Decal location opinion

At first it didnt go well with me then once i started to look at it from a few feet away it started to really grow on me maybe later when it stops raining ill take a pic from a few feet away.

i agree with once you take the moldings off its just a little to plain i needed to add a little something!
