Re: Deep Auburn Pearl (Overland)? Thoughts?

I thought the Deep Auburn is only available on the Summit, which I have. IMO, it's the only color WK that doesn't look boring and stands out among all others.

So you have that color? Yes, it's exclusive to the Summit. It's interesting because some people like it but most people I have been showing pictures to don't like it. It's growing on me.

Re: Deep Auburn Pearl (Overland)? Thoughts?

Yeah Auburn is Summit only as far as I know. Not sure why the OP put Overland in the title.

LOL...I was going to mention that too, or even just change it for him, but given it's now been mentioned, I'll leave it. Prior to MY14 (MY11-13), the "Summit" wasn't a separate trim level--it was a specialty trim option--and sometimes folks who have been around JGC from those earlier years can't disconnect. No biggie. Things became clear.

----
OP, It's a very nice color, IMHO, and given it's uniqueness, I would consider it myself if I decided to go with a darker color. (I personally prefer light colors)

Re: Deep Auburn Pearl (Overland)? Thoughts?

Ours is a 15 but we love the color. We were concerned from photos (they don't do it justice) but fell in love with it in real life. I agree with the above that it is probably the least boring color. Somewhat unique in that it is Summit only in 14 and 15 (the 16's don't have it last I looked).

It is somewhat of a chameleon too. At night you could mistake it for black from a distance, on cloudy days it may appear more brown, on sunny days in light the metallic or whatever it is called really sparkles and the sparkles are almost a nice rustic burnt orange.

We like having vehicles that are a bit more unique and I don't see many of these around, especially in diesel.

No idea on resale, but the color is great. We have the dark sienna brown/black interior which is a very nice complement to the exterior.

Thanks for the input! Any pics of the truck at night? I'll have to bring tell wife to see it in person. This might be a tough color to share via picture. I didn't think I was going to like it but when I saw in person I changed my mind.

I agree with the chameleon comment. I also have the sienna brown. I even had a comment from the technician at the dealer who said how beautiful the combination looks.
