Deep Cherry Red

I am close to buying an Overland and trying to decide a color. When I see online pictures of deep cherry red I'm neutral to so-so but when I see it in person I appreciate it more. I read comments from users on various forums that say the color grows on them.

It's either red, white or some form of gray. I can get the red in the same trim from a local dealer at a $1000 less than white or gray. What to do...

Re: Deep Cherry Red

I thought about the red when I saw a '13 Overland. The '13 had black moldings. I didn't like the red with body colored molding on the '14. At that point I thought about getting a Limited, but wound up with a Maximum Steel Overland.

Maybe you should look at Granite.

Re: Deep Cherry Red

Mine is Maximum Steel and I love it! When the sun hit it the car turns into a bluish gray and when its dark outside the car looks almost black. The red does look much better in person because i thought about getting mine in red and granite gray but ultimately went with Maximum Steel. Red, white and black are way too common of colors to get IMO.

Totally agree. I'm looking at my Max steel right now in the sun and it looks amazing

I wish I could say the same for mine but I am in the library at my university and my Jeep needs a bath. But when it is actually clean it looks gorgeous.

Get the red and blow the $1000 on something totally unredeeming.

I have the deep cherry red. Make sure you see it from a few different angles, where at least several of them are really bright sunlight.

I wouldn't worry about touch up, I am quite surprised at the Dr Colorchip road rash kits color match capability for the cherry red's metal flake.

It is also pretty easy to spot from the air, in case the rescue helicopters need to come find you.
