DeeZee running boards

Dee Zee NXc Crossover Running Boards (Black Board/Black Trim) Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014 (Not Trailhawk, SRT, or Orvis)

Anyone have these installed? Seems like the only real-world picture of these installed is on a Durango. I've searched and sifted through all the running board threads but came up empty. Anyone with any experience on these? I think they look so much better than the Ionic's that everyone seems to be getting, but the Durango owner posted about having to modify the brackets a bit to get the boards closer to the body. I would prefer to have the boards as flush with the body as possible.

Don't they look similar to the Mopar tubular design? I want a streamlined look adn the Ionic is close but sticks out a bit too far in my opinion. The DeeZee looks like the best option but I guess I might have to be the guinea pig if no one out there has actually done it.

Hey it's the unmarked police car again, lol. I had never seen that Black Horse design before, it looks really nice! Do you have any pics looking straight down at the boards? Basically the view you would have when you're about to get in the vehicle.

Was the installation straightforward? Simple lining up holes and bolts or more involved? And how flush are the boards to the body of the vehicle?

Planning to have a truck back into your parked jeep?

Does the blackhorse rear bumper guard interfere with the rear parking sensors?

Added some photos for you.. On one of the pics I am pointing to a rubber flap that lays up again the bottom of the door to make it flush. Some guys didn't like it and tucked it under so you don't see it, but I wanted it to be flush with the lower door.. Otherwise, there is a very very small space that you can see (if I recall correctly). Also, in my write up (will find you the link and post it later) I found a trick to mount the brackets quicker, but of course, I found that trick more than half way through the install. If I did it the beginning, it would have saved me about an hour of install time, maybe more. Also, if you do it yourself, get a long extension for the socket wrench bc the bolts are in the middle of the bracket.

OK.. Look for a thread that has a title of "running boards". It's like 26 pages long with some good info on it and in that thread is where I added my trick to the write up..
