Re: Delay in new car delivery due to lack of parts?
I ordered an Overland Summit (it has ACC) on 19 March. I received the VIN on 23 March. On 5 April, I received the final email from Chrysler telling me that my "new Jeep® has left the plant." My dealer called me on 6 April to tell me that it was built and was scheduled to be put on a rail car today (7 April).
The VOTS website still lists my vehicle as scheduled for production.
So, if there is or was part shortage, it doesn't appear to have affected my vehicle.
