Thanks!!!
You can certainly reject the vehicle. It's up to you. My dealer sent mine to a body shop who adjusted the rear liftgate since it was very close to touching the body on the left side. Chrysler paid something like $426.00 to make that adjustment.

I just got the call from my dealer and my 2014 JGC Limited is in. I will be picking it up tomorrow. The forecast here in New York is for rain for the next week. I told the dealer I wanted to inspect it carefully and not in the rain. He said he will have it inside for me. Do you think this is ok? I really don't want to wait for the next sunny day. Do you think it will matter that much? It is white and I know some of the other darker colors really shine and almost change color in the sun.

This is a good idea for you!! Inspect it carefully for fit and finish both on the exterior ad interior. Check the doors, liftgate etc and mention even the smallest issues to the sales manager.

Do you think I should wait for a sunny day to pick it up?

If its indoors depending on the lighting it may not be a bad thing but a sunny day will always shine brightly on your inspection.

Re: Delivery Checklist

Thought I would share with some of the latest since I just picked my 2014 Limited up last week. There was only a few issues I noticed with mine.

1. Passenger door was not aligned properly sticks out about a 1/4in, this is going to the body shop to fix.

2. Lifting the hood, on the drivers side new the window where the plastic is supposed to go under the roll in
the body it was on the outside, making it stick out when the hood is closed.

3. Not sure if this one is an issue since I checked out a few more on the lot showing the same, the liftgate handle does not sit flush against the body running your hand over it there is a clear gap like it is popped out on the left side.

Re: Delivery Checklist

Would be nice to get everything together into a single list somewhere in this thread. Preferably the first post if OP feels up to it.

Re: Delivery Checklist

Picked up my Overland this week and ran through my delivery checklist before leaving the lot. Neglected to look into the armrest however. When I got home and opened the armrest, the cover for the manual park release was lodged on the bottom of the armrest. The manual release in the rear of the armrest had the Red nylon strap hanging out with a piece of black electrical tape running across the top of the slot.

Has this happened to others?

This didn't occur on mine.
