Details for 2017 Summit?

I'm close to a decision on
ordering a new Summit & see that members are already ordering 2017's. On the Jeep website all I can find on the '17s is a little brochure and no details. I must be missing something-- is the info only with the dealers at this point?

For pricing {MSRP and Invoice} as well as packages, options and colors:

Jeep Grand Cherokee WK2 - 2017 Grand Cherokee pricing and options

Also, Koons.com {a vendor on this site} has a number of them in stock. You can click on a vehicle and the look at a window sticker.

Re: Details for 2017 Summit?

I assume that when the formal intro arrives Sep 1, there will be photos of the options. I might be interested in the now "Platinum Series" package, but would like to view it before deciding.

The body color mirrors and door handles point to the first picture being a Platinum edition. Can't be 100% sure as this car was put together for the NY auto show. Try dealer websites. As I mentioned earlier, some have stock so you may find a picture of one that way.

Re: Details for 2017 Summit?

That's kind of backwards. If you buy the platinum series, shouldn't you get the shiny chromed out parts on your Jeep to match the name?

You do. Platinum and chrome are different colors.

Well, you got some sort of 'Platinum' color on some pieces with this package, so the name is actually correct.

On the 17, all remaining chrome exterior pieces like the window trim aren't in the shine chrome but in, well, platinum instead..

Watch closely...

Re: Details for 2017 Summit?

Ok, it's a more brushed nickel look than the shiny chrome. Jeep should have never put so much chrome on these vehicles or at least given the option to pick color match from chrome on the mirrors and handles.

They did, and it only costs $995.

I like my 2015 Summit wheels so much more. Everything else is a slight improvement.
