The 545RFE and the 65RFE have the same gear ratios. The operation is the same between both the 545 and 65.

Some people are reporting low 6's 0-60. My larger all-terrain tires and added weight aren't helping so I'm happy with the 6.54. Although the 8spd will shift light years faster than the 5spd. A good heads up race will determine if 14-15 stock is quicker than 11-13 Hemifever.

Re: Did some 0-60 runs today

Car and Driver got 6.5 from a '14 GC 5.7 hemi.
But the hemi's 0-60 time is starting to get embarrassing:
-bigger but MUCH lighter 2016 Honda Pilot V6 (280hp) did 6.1
-bigger but same weight (as GC) Explorer Sport V6 (365hp) did 6.0

So I wonder how much Hemifever tune would improve an 8sp 5.7?
The Hemifever website is quite vague. How exactly does this 'tune' work? What can you expect from it? Does it void the warranty? How easy is it to implement?

A guy in another thread in the performance section made a post saying all his mods did absolutely nothing. He had a tune, exhaust, cold air etc. He said he gained absolutely nothing so I would be very hesitant on spending that kind of money on anything performance wise for the Grand Cherokee. I think his was a 11-13 V8 so I'm not sure how things would be with the 8spd.

Re: Did some 0-60 runs today

The only significant gains would be to supercharge it. Anything else is not worth it. The extra money I can save would go into better tires and future maintenance.

Ehh, there are gains to be had beside SC route but one must commit to a coordinated air/fuel/exhaust mod package.....If one would put a complete high flow exhaust including proper headers and matching manifold and then if you could tune the TCM to adjust shift points to match the new mod setup (full exhaust, CAI, catch-can, pp-tb, 91/93 tune) then the gains could be identifiable beyond the butt dyno. Realistically, for most of us, yes, the usual hemi mods are for our pleasure and wallet depletion.

Re: Did some 0-60 runs today

I can verify his 0-60 runs. I have a "12" SRT Jeep. I have a Hemifever tune and posted a 4.5 sec. 0-60 mph and 12.6 1/4 @ 107 mph vs. stock 4.9 sec 0-60 and 13.3 sec @101 mph. No other mods. That's with the 5 spd. auto. Waiting for my AFE CAI to go into production. Claimed 35 hp gain.

Did some 0-60 runs today

The best time i've seen on a 14' hemifever tuned 5.7 0-60 is 5.47. I have the same setup but haven't timed it yet, but can tell you it's noticably faster than the 11-13's and a stock 14' 5.7. There is a video of the 5.47 time on the third page of this thread i believe.

Diablosport I1000 DCX now supports 2014 5.7

Re: Did some 0-60 runs today

That's the same time my 2012 Hemi 6 speed ran..6.54. Stock was about 7.3. I'm a big fan of Sean's tunes. The big difference is when you are doing 60 and punch it.

Re: Did some 0-60 runs today

very respectable times for a 4x4 without F/I or crazy engine mods. Nice runs!! My 08 5.7 2wd was pulling 5.9-6.1 all day to 60mph with a 4" BWoody, Toona and Exhaust...but that weighed a lot less...

I'm waiting on one too, I'd be happy with 5-10 additional hp, 35 is unnnnlikely at best.
