More inflation is just one way for manufacturer to improve gas mileage.

The problem is that two different recommendations are being given as the base psi. So no matter how you like to adjust from there you're still going to be 3 pounds off either way depending on which is the correct baseline

Just had my '14 JGC serviced last week. Had them rotate, balance, etc...
Came back with 37psi on all four tires.
