Disability Access: What is "seat height" on WK2 w/18 Rims and Quadra-Lift?

My wife has some disability access issues with our 2102 GC (20 rims and NO QL) as the seat height (at edge) is 31 inches from the ground. I would like to know what the seat height from the ground is with 18" Wheels and the Quadra-Lift is in Park mode. Any info would be a really BIG help in looking at a 2014 GC.

There is no difference in overall diameter between the 18" and 20" - they are both 30.5" (265/60/18 vs 265/50/20)

QL in park mode lowers the Jeep 1.5" from normal ride height.

My guess would be that the seat height at edge is 29.5" from the ground in park mode.

I would certainly go and test it at a dealer, no matter what the actual numeric measurement is.

It's a noticeable difference, and my wife and I both appreciate the feature. We just sit in the truck while it lowers before we get out. But, mostly, it's more important getting back in than getting out -- pretty easy to just slide/fall out.

I've actually gotten into the habit of lowering mine to the "park" setting when I come in our driveway. It certainly made it much easier for my 83 yo mother to get in the passenger seat when she visited and I know my wife appreciates it, although it's become a running joke when I mention I forgot to lower it.

I'd strongly recommend trying one in park mode. The missus is a bit altitude challenged and can only easily enter/exit the 2014 when it is in park mode.

There is a TSB for the thing showing continual "raising" status when exiting park mode. Allegedly cured with a flash of the doohickey, but can also be gotten rid of
by dropping out of ECO and then back.

I agree, go to the dealer and try it out. I don't use it often but appreciate it when I'm suited up and in the city for work.

Heh. Problem with the user interface mechanical design.
There should be a small toilet seat shaped lever to lower/raise the vehicle.
