Re: Disabled 2013 Limited Seat Belt Chime

Try the buckle and unbuckle about the same speed you depress the gas pedel to reset the maintenance reminder system.

Re: Disabled 2013 Limited Seat Belt Chime

Does anyone know if there's a similar process for disabling the driver door open chime?

Is there any way to disable all idiot alarms? Haha that would be perfect, except for the low fuel ding I need that.

U have a Camry too? My 2012 Camry was VERY annoying until I had the dealer turn it off. I will be doing this procedure on the jeep as soon as the wifey gets home with it.

Re: Disabled 2013 Limited Seat Belt Chime

We always wear our seatbelts but there are MANY times my wife has to unbuckle to tend to the kids in the back seat and it can get quite annoying. Does this procedure stop it from blocking my digital speedo with a seatbelt unbuckled?

This procedure only stops the dinging. You will still see a message on your EVIC display that will replace whatever you had it on last while your wife doesn't have her seatbelt buckled. You can hit the back button to ignore the message but it will go right back to the warning in less than a minute.

Re: Disabled 2013 Limited Seat Belt Chime

It worked on my 2012, but the EVIC display message still appears warning of the seatbelt being unbuckled. Still, better than before. Thanks for the tip.

Re: Disabled 2013 Limited Seat Belt Chime

Oh man; I really appreciate this - I applied it to my 11, and it rid me of the incrediblly annoying chime for when I have something (not a person) in my passenger seat while driving --- thank you!

Worked on the first try in my 2012. Very useful when I put something in the front passenger seat. Thanks

Worked first one in my 12 limited also. I turned it to "on"(not started up) position though. Not acc(I didn't get a seat belt light in acc)
