I didn't know the Touaregs were adjustable?

It's been an option since the were introduced in '03. Most of the first generation V8's and V10 Diesels had the 4 corner air suspension package up until 2006 when it became a separate orderable option. From 2008 - 2010 it was special order only and the new 2011 does not offer the option in the US although most other countries have it on their option list.

The one I just sold was a 2008 V8 with 4 corner air. According to VW it is a very rare combo since in 2009 and beyond the V8 option was discontinued. So rare that the buyer came all the way from Ottawa Canada to buy it.

Re: Do you park raised or lowered?

That is beyond cool, chibi. That sequence is great because there's so much to watch and appreciate: the obvious height change, the slight decompression of the front tire, the time lapse movement of the clouds, the movement of the parts within the wheel openings, and the rugged composition of the shot overall.

Clearly, the work of a fellow Mac Man unless I'm mistaken. Nice job; +rep.

Re: Do you park raised or lowered?

That's just sweet! I still haven't seen a QL in person, I believe the dealership said mine would be there first QL and first saddle interior.

Re: Do you park raised or lowered?

I try to remember to lower it when I park it. Easiest for my pregnant wife to get in and easiest to put my 1 year old in the center rear.

I also use ORII mode when at the car wash so the wheel wells get the cleanest. Give the guys a lot more room to clean the wheel wells.
