Do you park raised or lowered?

Obviously a QL question. I like it raised so I can use my side steps, but lowered is nice when putting my kid in the car seat in the rear center. Both look cool, so I change it up.

What's everyone doing?

I dont have my Overland yet but I would imagine when I do get it I will probably be using the "park" mode pretty often. I think these things look soo good when lowered a little bit. :)

If I'm solo whatever height I'm driving at. If my girlfriend is being good park mode & if she is being difficult I park in Off Road II. :D

LMAO!!:lol::lol:

For me it will depend on whether it's dirty or not. At its usual height it gets the back of my leg at times on egress. So when she's dirty, park mode (similar to your g'friend rule).

Having owned four previous Grand Cherokees, I frequently forget to lower when parking. My wife and pregnant daughter appreciate it when I do but a lot of times they have opened the door before I hit the lower button and that's if I remember. I'm learning to hit the button when turning into the driveway so we are at park height when we stop.

I would like to use Park Mode more but I always forget to set it before shutting down. I think you should have the option of having it go to Park Mode automatically when you shift into park and have the engine shut down only after it finishes lowering.

+1.

There was one time that I remembered to go to the park mode a little late as I already pulled over and shifted to P. Then I must be out of my mind as I pressed the start button to shut the engine while the air suspension was still lowering the car. So it ended up with the rear in the park height while the front was still in normal height. I swear I could feel the slope. I had to restart the engine and the lowering continued on.

Lowering bit me tonight. Dropped on a parking block with ice, didnt realize till I backed out. That's what bumpers are for I guess, bumping and scratching.

The 1st pic turned out odd, think my flash was screwy, too lazy to pull it back out of the garage, hopefully you get the picture. I think lowered is better looking, ORII height looks a little unnatural.

I thought the same thing about my Touareg on the top setting. Looks odd until you use it to get over an obstacle.

That is beyond cool, chibi. That sequence is great because there's so much to watch and appreciate: the obvious height change, the slight decompression of the front tire, the time lapse movement of the clouds, the movement of the parts within the wheel openings, and the rugged composition of the shot overall.

Clearly, the work of a fellow Mac Man unless I'm mistaken. Nice job; +rep.

That's just sweet! I still haven't seen a QL in person, I believe the dealership said mine would be there first QL and first saddle interior.

I try to remember to lower it when I park it. Easiest for my pregnant wife to get in and easiest to put my 1 year old in the center rear.

I also use ORII mode when at the car wash so the wheel wells get the cleanest. Give the guys a lot more room to clean the wheel wells.

It sucks I didn't have anywhere scenic to do this like the gentlemen above, but I'm just more or less BORED over here and decided to make one of my own.

Next I'm thinking about making another one thats more of a closeup of the suspension as it cycles, maybe.

Did I miss one? looks like Park, NRH, OR1, OR2.
