Does anyone have info on this rig

Mopar accessorized Jeep Grand Cherokee Photo Gallery - Autoblog

Basically, I am trying to find out the wheel/tire size on it. I am assuming those are JK wheels, but wanted to know the tire size and if it has a lift/air suspension or just a leveling kit.

Just a clean looking rig IMHO and something I aspire to have.

and I know those are the mud terrain tires (I would get the AT)

Re: Does anyone have info on this rig

From Autoblog:
Quote:
Among the lineup of modified Jeeps was the off-road-ready version of the 2011 Grand Cherokee we first saw last fall at SEMA. The Mopar-modded Grand Cherokee began life as a run-of-the-mill Laredo with a five-speed automatic transmission and a 5.7-liter Hemi V8, but the Mopar team added steel springs, skid plates, rock rails, a two-inch lift kit and 32-inch all-season tires.

I'm pretty sure those are the wheels and tires from the 2007-2012 Wrangler (JK) Rubicon. The wheels are 17" and (I think) are the same ones that are on the Sport S, just with a different tire.

Depends on if you have the V6 or V8. The V8 has HD brakes that require 18" or larger wheels.

Nope. Got the V6 laredo.

I was also reading that they fronts might need spacers. Would that be because of the brake issue that you just spoke about?

No. That would be because the Wrangler tires and wheels are wider than the stock GC ones.

Re: Does anyone have info on this rig

Those are not "all-season tires". There is a closeup of the wheel/tire. They are BFG MT -- looks like LT255/75/17. Poor writing.

yea, I noticed that too. Thats why I stated that I would want the AT's. The MT's just have way too much road noise and probably get used up really quickly.

But, man, all I want is a nice set of wheels (inexpensive preferably) powder coated black so I can throw on some BFG's and make it look more rugged and handle better off road/snow etc.

SERENITY NOW.......

Like these?
5 Wheels 17" Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JK Sahara Cherokee Black Powdercoat 2012 9074 | eBay

They should have made Anvil available in the Trailhawk. Contrasts well with the black and red accents.
