Re: Dog Barriers

Tell him if he's good he will get a treat! If that doesn't work, I think Weathertech sells what they call a "pet barrier" you may want to look at that.

Re: Dog Barriers

My best friend has a female german shepherd that has the same issue. Just prior to the area in which she freaks out, we hand her her fav toy to play and chew on. If she's still calm by the time we get to the vet we give her a few treats.

That may help if u don't get your barrier by the next time you have a visit to the vet. Best of luck!!! Share a pic of the dog. I'm a huge dog lover. I help out at our local animal every weekend when I'm away from work. Saddens me to see such amazing dogs in a shelter and "unwanted". The cases of abused dogs that we take in at the shelter breaks my heart the most!

Re: Dog Barriers

I just use the leash and tie it to the Cargo hooks in the floor. So no problem of the dog jumping the seats. Pet Barriers are ok, but rattle!

That sounds really dangerous for the dog, even a low speed collision could really hurt his neck. I am planning to get one of the cargo net like things Jeep sells as a 'vertical cargo net' - search P/N 82210641

I thought you were going National Lampoons Vacation with this one. The old leash on the bumper method.
