Re: Donít Forget the 2011s!

Ok, so all the talk may be about the 14's, but remember how much anticipation there was waiting for our 11's, they were completely new, none on the roads or the dealers for that matter, we could only read here for any little piece of info that would appear.... I remember nearly running off the road the first time I saw one! Ah, those were the days.... Anyway, mine still looks and drives like new at 120,000km (about 70,000 miles) Thanks Jeep Garage for being so interesting over the last few years!

Re: Donít Forget the 2011s!

Damn... all y'all with 50 or 70K on the odometer... My 2K11 just passed 16,000 miles after almost 2 years (August of '11). Until a couple months ago, I had a lovely commute to work-- 5 minute's walk.

Still love the girl. I had ordered a '14 Summit, but ended up passing due to my now much-longer commute (ordered a Mercedes E250 Bluetec instead).

Got a chance to sit in the '14 before I gave it up, and I have to say, I think the '11 wins for me... just feels a bit more rugged. I'm glad I'm keeping her.

I had to have new rotors and pads in front for mine at 27k miles because the rotors were so corroded. They were actually fused to the hubs...

WK2 Rover is on a distinguished road
Re: Donít Forget the 2011s!

Same back story as the original poster, but my lust for the WK2 started in April 2009 with the rollout at the New York Auto show! I too waited to order my Overland with all the extras, and picked up the lifetime warranty to cover all the great stuff in this vehicle. I took delivery of my custom order Grand Cherokee in December 2010.

No issues and nothing but good experiences since. People who appreciate cars love this Jeep. After 17K miles the only wish is for more vacation time.
