Re: Drivers Side Legroom (6'5") JGC

6'7' here. The legroom is fine but I find my right knee gets sore from resting on the center upper console. Adaptive cruise control on long trips allows me to shift the legs around, no need to keep one planted on the gas pedal. Comfortable vehicle overall. The most comfortable I have ever been in though was a pickup(Ram 1500)

Re: Drivers Side Legroom (6'5") JGC

6'-5" and you get the story by now. But the pedals are too close and that's why everybody's right knee is bent against the console. My last Jeep had adjustable pedals and it was perfect. If you could adjust the pedals away from you the truck would be perfect. Wish they didn't get rid of them.

Re: Drivers Side Legroom (6'5") JGC

I'm 6'2" and my biggest complaint is hitting my head when i get in and out. The console is a bit uncomfortable. I found the best position is to rest your knee at the curved point of the console where it goes from verticle to the flat portion. I wished they offered a no console model. The telescoping steering wheel is nice. I have mine all the way out and my seat almost all the way back. HTH.

Re: Drivers Side Legroom (6'5") JGC

I'm 6'4". Like everyone else, I'm rather comfortable driving the WK2. My gripe is that even with the steering wheel in the upward-most position and telescoped all the way toward me, I can't see the speedometer very well. It's not a problem if I keep the display on Vehicle Speed, but my preference is the analog gauge.

I agree that some more distance to the pedals would be great, but I doubt that adjustable ones would give you that. Looking at their current position (and pressing them all the way down) there is not much room under them left. So I assume that they are already all the way back. There is a lot of room behind the brake pedal though but I suppose it's a safety 'feature'

Has somebody sat in a Durango and could proof my assumptions?

Re: Drivers Side Legroom (6'5") JGC

Just wanted to add that 1 thing, I'm 6'1" and like another poster mentioned, I like to sit with the seat raised a little bit so there is more bend in my knees instead of mostly straight, and since I have a sunroof, I can't have the seat as high as I would like (not a big deal) without hitting my head on the headliner.

Im 6ft3 230 with size 14 feet and the only thing I hate is the e-brake foot pedal. Cant stretch my left leg out.

There should be an option for an electronic parking brake. Something just like what's on a Lexus LS460.

6'5" / 350# here. I have put 16K miles on my JGC since I bought it in late July. I am on the road weekly frequently for 6 hours at a time. I find the jeep to be quite comfortable. Love it, glad I bought it.

Re: Drivers Side Legroom (6'5") JGC

6-4 285 here. I often rest my left knee against the leather on the front end of the armrest - below the window and side mirror controls. In summer, if I'm wearing shorts, sometimes the continued contact produces sweat, so there will be some sweat that hits the leather. Should I be worried about harming the leather? Without getting into a detailing thread, any special tricks to clean it?
