Re: Driveway-rated ?

It definitely rides better. I had just over 8000 miles on the Forteras and the Nokians ride much better. Noise is about the same, but the Nokians have substantially better hydroplaning resistance and snow/wet traction.

Are they a soft ride or do you feel every little bump? I hated forteras also got rid of them at 10k. They didnt have many good points but did have soft ride are the nokians like that or are they stiffer type ride?

Re: Driveway-rated ?

To me the Forteras were stiffer. The WRG3s seem to provide better isolation resulting in a smoother all around ride.

Re: Driveway-rated ?

I think the Fortera's are good enough that I at least want to wear them out before I replace them...
But that could change based on the first real blizzard! 14 k miles so far and they have been at least acceptable...
What pressure has everyone been running?

Re: Driveway-rated ?

Well I been parking my car on part of the driveway that I really didn't shovel and I guess with the colder weather it's pretty slick, so I'm stuck, LOL. Tried low but it's too slippery. I think I made it back in my house before the neighbors noticed .
