E85 wk2 2012

So I noticed united fuel has e85(leaver says not petrol or deisel). The cap on my gc says e85. Anyone tried it before? What's the difference? More economy? Rough idles? Performance loss?

Re: E85 wk2 2012

Less economy, but the fuel is cheaper. I haven't done the math to know whether it's worth it. There is no performance loss or rough idle.

Re: E85 wk2 2012

its 20-25 % less mileage. so if the price diff is greater than that then it MIGHT be worth it.

the year of Katrina I used it for about 6 months in my 4.7 WK.

also it is known to make a mess inside the intake and such so you may need something like BG44K every 6 months or so to keep it all straight.
