Re: ECO Mode

Yea and I actually get better MPG with Eco mode off go figure. Literally 2mpg more than I got with Eco mode on... It was always searching for gears and in the wrong gears with Eco mode with my heavier aftermarket wheels and tires.

I was wondering if there was that much savings in mileage with ECO mode on. I'll be driving about three hours this weekend for the holiday. I'm going to turn ECO mode off and see what the difference is. Something tells me it probably won't be much.

Re: ECO Mode

It all boils down to driving style - the way I see most people take off from stop lights, ECO or any other gas savings mode won't do any good. Obviously, the ECO programming was created to help the Jeep achieve best results during the EPA testing methods.

I drive pretty conservative. I don't like putting that extra wear on something I worked hard for. That and I live in some what of a small town and don't want to be considered the, "Small Town Hard ass guy". Every town has them. Our small town hard ass is so hard that his license plate says, "Haterz" and no, I'm not joking.

Damn lol yeah don't be that guy. I'm in a small town too and know of a few guys that tear up their shit regularly. But I do use sport mode every now and then, feels good to clean out the cobwebs.
