I was only questioning the light on my ECO button.

Sport mode i'm all set.

Re: Eco mode, huge difference

I normally keep Eco off. I find in city driving it slows down the vehicle and doesn't allow enough HP when I need it.

On the highway though is a different story. I utilized my ACC for the journey and noticed the improvement with Eco mode on. City I'm averaging 18-19

Is ECO on by default? or do you have to press the button to engage? and I don't have the "Sport Mode" button either, just ECO Mode in the middle.

If you have a 2014 Eco is on by default. If you have a 2015 it remembers your last setting.

Your calculations are lying to you unless your city driving is a constant 50 mph with no traffic.

City for me is back and forth to work on 95 and 495 with around town driving after I get off the highway and on the weekends. None of that driving around NY foolishness. I also didn't have a heavy foot with the V6. That's also based on EVIC, which, like others have said elsewhere, is always within 1, maybe 2mpg of my hand calculations.

I just go by what the car tells me. That's what it reads so that's what it is

Noticed the River Oaks plate on the front. That is where I bought my 14 with the 5.5% below invoice group buy. Stayed local with my 16, since it was a buy back. Would have made the trip again if I would have had to negotiate a deal. River Oaks still gives the group buy deal, but not allowed to advertise on this site any more.

Subtract 10% and that is what I get with calculations compared to the EVIC.

Re: Eco mode, huge difference

Love river oaks. Drove down from Dallas to buy from there. The easiest car buying experience I have ever had with one hell of a deal to compliment it.

Will shop them for my next GC

Are they as easy to deal with as Koons?

Re: Eco mode, huge difference

I've never dealt with koons. But when I dealt with them I did everything through phone/email. We negotiated the price of the vehicle without any caveats like financing or specials you only qualify for under certain restrictions.

Bascially they told me how to get to that 5.5% below invoice. Then they helped me save even more money. All through email. I walked in, confirmed the vehicle, and signed the papers. No surprises, no bull
