eco mode of 4x4

Appears on website that eco mode only comes if you get a 4x2 and not in 4x4s?

Re: eco mode of 4x4

Yup, my 4X4 has ECO mode that defaults to on. It's the button below the AC controls that is lit up.

I wonder what the bulb life is since it's always on. I think I'm helping it by turning it off every time I get in to drive

Re: eco mode of 4x4

Sooooo, does anyone know if the "Fuel Saver Technology" on the Hemi cuts off when you turn off "Eco" mode?

It would make too much sense if it actually worked that way...wouldn't ?

Re: eco mode of 4x4

Well, it would be a huge plus, especially for the SRT guys.

Am I wrong or is it an LED? I'll have to check. But if so it would probably outlast the life of the vehicle many times over. The general life expectancy for an LED is around 50K hours I think, which equates to almost 6 years of it being on 24/7, and over 34 years of it being on 4 hours a day every day.

Well that light might last forever but I am going to wear that button out pushing it everytime I put the vehicle in drive....GRRR
