Re: ECO mode question

My .02 cents, regarding the Eco mode

I had massive issues on my 2014 jgc 4x4 pentastar, initially, but since the recent most upgrade (read as pre feb2014) my avg. has improved by 3-4 km/100km, driving short distances and looking for a parking spot in Hosp. Although I would be happier if the transmission didn't take as long to stabilise, because till it does I have rough shifting and staying stuck at 4th gear @ 2500rpm up till 60kph, as opposed to a ?warmed up transmission doing 7th gear at 1100rpm at 60kph

Agree that once they get the cold perfornance right, I will be happy with the transmission shift settings. Currently, I just use the paddle shifter for upshifts until the transmission warms up.

Re: ECO mode question

We need a way to make ECO OFF permanently. I constantly get worse mpg with ECO ON in city traffic and I constantly have a feeling like the car is under powered...even with the latest Rev. C update.

Also, cold performance is terrible (stucked in gear and wont upshift, jerky upshifts) and I get rough and jerky downshifts when coming to a stop all the time..especially 3-2 and 2-1. I have a April 2013 build so have been dealing with this for over a year without a result... I wish I never went with the V6.

See if you can get the latest April bulletin flashed for your transmission, I did it today, but be prepared as dealers apparently don't subscribe to this fantastic forum for upto the minute updates on jeeps
