Interior trim did not line up - two pieces refused to seat in the factory groves. Conveniently the body shop manager was off today(Saturday, so stands to reason). I refused acceptance of repairs performed. Deal with the BS on Monday.

What a nightmare! Sorry to hear about the shoddy workmanship on your Jeep, I'm sure it's going to be a long weekend for you. All this headache because someone else. It's a sh_ty situation.

Re: EcoDiesel got rear-ended this afternoon....

Jeez! I had a similar story as yours but mine was side collision... No jeep for 3.5 months... Got it back last last wk of March. Found out that my taillight got chipped, roof rail got few scratches, some sanding spots, glovebox and passenger panel are not aligned properly, no plastic rivets on side skirt, and sunroof fuses blew twice, rain wiper sensor and automatic high beam are no good, and mats were missing and had them to mail us the mats. I am currently fighting with Chrysler for a fricking free max care etc... Definitely nightmare!

So, back to your story, I definitely understand how ur feeling about result. Hope they will cooperate e you.

Don't accept it back until your happy. Call the insurance company and get them involved, they will hold payment until it's acceptable.

I actually have possession of the check - have had it for about a week. I went in today to discuss with he shop manager, and he was acting like I was there to pick it up. He was little disappointed when I refused delivery, citing 7 glaring problems. Seriously - when the rest off the car is void of chrome emblems, and it was noted on the work order as such, why would you install chrome? And to say nothing of the fact that they weren't even straight. The EcoDiesel badge was installed on the crease seam of the rear hatch, and asking the installer - point blank I was told " I wasn't really sure where it went" - Are you kidding me? Why not use a vehicle in inventory as a reference point? Now I understand why people purchase European imports - at least you get treated with dignity, and your customer lounge is really a lounge and not just a afterthought. Sorry just venting a little, but this ordeal is a moth old tomorrow, 28 April 2015.

Re: EcoDiesel got rear-ended this afternoon....

I got the jeep back a week ago this is say Friday - 1 week longer than expected because of incorrect emblem application + poor bodywork finishing. I ran it through a car wash to check for leaks and to check the tire alignment - seemed ok. Had to road trip down to Gary, Indiana for the day and seemed ok as well. Summer diesel certainly makes a difference - 33.8mpg - round trip.

Are you satisfied with the work now? What an awful situation to be forced into.
