Economy Mode button, hate the default?!

If those tsbs change the Eco button behavior on 2014s to remember last setting that would be a nice fix.

Are you saying you have already taken your GC to the dealer for this specific TSB that was just released on 1/24/2015? According to the TSB this absolutely does apply to the 2014's. Here is a copy of the full TSB for the 5.7l

DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (wiTECH) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in
TechCONNECT, verify all vehicle systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs or
symptom conditions, other than the ones listed above are present, record the issues on the
repair order and repair as necessary before proceeding further with this bulletin.
If the customer describes the symptom/condition listed above, perform the Repair
Procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
NOTE: Install a battery charger to ensure battery voltage does not drop below 13.2
volts. Do not allow the charging voltage to climb above 13.5 volts during the
flash process.
NOTE: If this flash process is interrupted/aborted, the flash should be restarted.
1. Reprogram the TCM with the latest available software. Detailed instructions for
flashing control modules using the wiTECH Diagnostic Application are available by
selecting the “HELP” tab on the upper portion of the wiTECH window, then “HELP
CONTENTS.” This will open the Welcome to wiTECH Help screen where help topics
can be selected.
2. Clear any DTCs that may have been set in other modules due to reprogramming. The
wiTECH application will automatically present all DTCs after the flash and allow the
tech to clear them.
NOTE: Do not clear the adaptation memory cells in the TCM’s memory. This action
may cause the transmission to not shift smoothly until the adaptation
memory cells are re-learned.

Re: Economy Mode button, hate the default?!

My dealings with Jeep dealers was that they were not aware of the TSB until you show it to them. Multiple visits were required to have the symptoms addressed. They are reluctant to just do a software update but when you point out that the symptoms still exist and you show them a TSB they may then look for it.

Re: Economy Mode button, hate the default?!

Just noticed the 3.6l TSB posted, only saw 5.7l before. Sent email to my dealer, they are good and usually get back to me next day. That's good news folks!
Happy Jeep is slowly but steadily working on those transmission updates...

Re: Economy Mode button, hate the default?!

I had mine in the shop on the 23rd to address the visor recall and poor 2-1 shift performance. I got 3 TSB updates related to the transmission. I'll check my paperwork to see if I got this TSB and mess with the ECO button.
