I'm interested to find out what others have in the way of EDC (every day carry) in their Jeep Grand Cherokees.
My personal list includes:
-a small duffel with a change of clothes
-a small day bag with my point-and-shoot camera, healthy snacks, and personal items.
-a dash duster and microfiber cloths
-a sleeping pad or air mattress in case I want to kick it in the back…
love the fact I can sleep in the back with the rear seats down (one of the main reasons I bought the grand Cherokee is it fits a full)
-my iPhone
3x MREs
2x Large Water Bottles
First Aid Kit
Woobie
Jumper Cables

Being that I live somewhat close to civilization and don't offroad, I don't find the need to have a rolling hardware store in the back of my Jeep. I do however, keep a few items with me at all times.
-Tow strap
-Air compressor
-Misc tools
-XDM-40 (for zombies)
-a few knives (for zombies)
-Blanket (to hide zombies from small children)
-Some plastic utensils (since drive through employees can't ever remember how much of a pain in the rear it is to eat sausage gravy & biscuits with your fingers.)
-Flashlight
-Oh, and some car cleaning stuff to keep my ride clean.
2 x flashlight w/ extra batteries
1 x gerber multi tool
1 blanket
1 x 9mm XDm fullsize (19+1)
2 9mm XDm mags 19 rounds each

1 x Kabar
1 box of midol (for the wife):slapfight:

I live in Pennsylvania and have a concealed carry permit. Both my wife and I carry guns wherever we go. I also take my 8 and 10 year old to the range with my every week. I am a pretty big gun nut if you can't tell.
I was robbed at gunpoint a few years ago while I was not carrying. I will not make that mistake again.
It is legal in North Carolina to carry a gun in your vehicle, but I would highly recommend obtaining a CCW permit if you plan on it being concealed. Anyways, I carry my gun with me everywhere I'm allowed, you never know when you're going to need it.
I agree with you! Does that make us weird? I've been taking notes watching the show "Preppers". So many situations. My plan is to hit up wal-mart to do shopping when things go south.
Legal in NY, i believe in the its better to have and not need then to need and not have theory. Plus, some scumbag broke into my house ten mins after i left for work at 5am when my wife was home but she thought it was just me and i forgot something until she asked me 12 hrs later. Now i have a 190lb italian mastiff at the door when i leave. Also police response in my area( rural no local pd) can be 45 mins out from a call.
