Hi,

The Search didn't gave me any useful results so I'm kicking off a new thread.
I'm looking for a good aftermarket engine oil cooler kit for my 2011 WK2 Overland 5.7.

Reason: Engine Oil goes up to 240°F when driving up the Sierra and up to 260°F when towing.

I know there are plenty of aftermarket options out there but none of them seems to be specific for that vehicle/engine so I'm worried about fitment. Does anyone have good experience with specific engine oil coolers?

Thanks,
Tim

You do a sandwich adapter plate.

Basically it spins onto the filter and has 2 threaded fittings on it that you could plumb up and route a extra cooler.

Example Motor-Oil sandwich plate-- OIL FILTER.

your oil filter now spins onto the plate and not the Block.

Derale and B&M are great companies.

I would recommend something thermostatic tho.

you don't want the cooler having full flow when it's 10 F out.
