the European launch has been pushed back till the end of the first quarter of 2011 from what Ive heard. There is huge demand in the states for them.

Milous any news?
If you don't hear anything, possibly Europe production has not yet started?

Fender blinkers are everywhere at work! And have been for some time now. Read: WEEKS!

#24 ·
Export production has started today?

Interestingly, for me, Europe/Switzerland.

#25 ·
As I said in another thread, the very first 2011 GC with a diesel engine was just spotted near VM Motori factory at Cento (Bologna-IT)...

I said something about diesel? No!;)
I'm not interested in a diesel!

#27 ·
Me neither... I run on LPG.
You should have said Swiss launch instead :D

@Marlon JB2
@Milous

Do you know anything about it?

#31 ·
About what?

We've been doing Export models forever, that did NOT just recently start. What DID just recently start production are RIGHT HAND DRIVE models.

i'm living in switzerland too, thinking about to buy a new GC (or a Disco4, VW Touareg) to replace my 13 Year old Defender. With the swiss high end price for the GC, i would think about of importing a US Version.

Welcome OneCent!

My "Swiss High End Price" is lower, because: ich habe % durch meinen Arbeitgeber! :)

#35 ·
wow - that must be a lot of % then ;-). Just for you US Guys, a Laredo Diesel (the old GC") with a little more Options starts around 64'000$ - 3 years warranty and service for the first 60'000 miles included. Overland with Hemi starts at 79'000$.

Hi@all
this is my first time I wrote on your great website.

I ordered a GC Overland 5.7 at end of november in Germany/Berlin.
At this time you can order the Jeep only fully loaded as Overland, nothing to order extra except the metallic color. The dealer quoted me a february delivery.

I think my questions can only answered by Milous:
1. Is the production for the european version really started (not only the black GC's for the showrooms) and is a delivery in february possible?

2. The feature-lists are a little bit strange and differs a from time to time (by example: 3 ELSD's in the german feature list???, Navigation 735N or a another version? 220V outlet or not?).
I believe the GC's that already in the showrooms must not exactly match the cars for the delivery.
Has anyone a european(german) build-sheet at this time for an Overland V8? All european V8-models should only differ in color.

Hi Wrab

Welcome to the Forum! :)

Seitenspiegel in Wagenfarbe
Weisse Blinbkergläser vorne
Seitliche Blinkleuchten
Scheinwerferwaschanlage
REW/RHW Navigation
Erweitertes Bremsenpaket
Sportfahrwerk
Seitenspiegel elektrisch einklappbar
Reifen Continental statt Kumho
Knieairbag
