EVIC Terrain feature questions

So I did some off roading the other day. I switched to the terrain screens in the EVIC and I have some questions. I searched the DVD and could not find the detail I seek. I seek the wisdom of forum members.
1. The drive train screen. I see 4 wheels and what looks to be some sort of level indicator. What is the purpose/function of this screen? What is that needle at the top for?
2. The next screen(articiculation) shows 4 wheels. I see the 4 axels change color and the wheels bounce around. I assume if I put a wheel up on a rock it would show it. What is with the changing axle colors? What are people using this screen for other than to show that a wheel is up on a rock.
It looks like the other screens are to show what mode you are in and the ride height. I thought I read that one screen should show your elevation but I don't see it.

Re: EVIC Terrain feature questions

IIRC:
- the indicator at the top of the drivetrain screen shows which way the front wheels are pointed.
- the articulation indeed shows the vertical wheel positions. I think the axles change color if they are more than X degrees from level. I guess this is to help your situational awareness when off-roading, or maybe it's just eye candy.

I think altitude is in your GPS screens somewhere.

Re: EVIC Terrain feature questions

Thanks. I guess I was expecting something fancier like when the axles turn orange it means power is going to those wheels, or that the drive train image would change depending on what mode you are in or power it is delivering to various wheels.
Something I read said it would show the angle you were at. I didn't see that either.
