Extend remote start time on OEM 14 W2

Because 15 minutes is not enough time when it's super cold.
Anyway to extend the run time?
TIA

None that I am aware of, sorry for the lack of help.

It's been a cold and windy winter here so I've used remote start quite a bit when I'm at work.

Have you tried RDC method? Repeat Double Click after 15 minutes?

Are you guys trying to warm up the cabin or the engine ? Because for the engine is far too long, and for the cabin, it doesn't do much due to the HVAC controller logic. At least on my 14.

Just man or woman up and drive off. Get in start your WK2 and drive off. No need for a warm up and polluting the environment solely for your comfort. We have had temps with chills of -10 or worse I just get in drive. Vehicle right now is parked outside. Being in my GC even when starting it up is still warmer than being outside waiting for the dogs to pee in the morning or moving sheep in sub zero temps. Stop whining and grow a set.

Makes you wonder how people survived 100 years ago without all this stuff.

If you really need it warmer get the engine block heater. Leaving it plugged in over night will reduce the warm up time for you.

Well they did wear fur and most folks still lived on the farm and worked outdoors. With modern fabrics and insulation there really isnt any excuse.
Down loses its insulation properties when it gets wet but Thinsulate and other modern similar products work great.

My collie girl loves cold weather and storms and she will delay peeing just to enjoy the weather.

I guess its too damn cold for them to drive and text wearing gloves.

Actually I have a good pair of texting gloves, they work really well for driving and texting.

Hopefully one day you text yourself right into the back of a tanker truck and barbecue yourself into eternity.

Are you sure it is 15 minutes? I thought it was 10, at least thats what it seems like. I wish there was a setting in the evic to change it though, but then again I am always stepping on my keys or running into something and remote starting it by mistake, so I guess the limited run time is a good thing.
