Perhaps his button is an outie and not an innie; or vice versa.

The 2015 has returned to calling it Electronic Stability Program instead of Electronic Stability Control?

BTW, it should not be necessary to press and hold it either, unless this is for ESP mode rather than the WK2 ESC mode?

And it does indicate it never completely disables it..... just parts of it.

Sport mode allows reasonably good donuts..

i can do it in every vehicle, but not in GC... whos the targeted audience? 50+? Its a jeep, jeeps are supposed to be fun. Its my mistake i didnt make enough research before purchase, but how was i supposed to know.. my 04 GC didnt have this issue. And traction off button actually worked.
After the infamous and headline grabbing Ford Explorer rollovers on Firestone tires, be thankful you can turn it off at all...

The CG is a tad high in an SUV for hooning.

I made the back end slide out in snow mode on slushy roads just today. Learn how to drive maybe?

Re: Extremely Pissed. Traction/stability control in snow.

Ya it will step out in snow mode. Just a little then the nannies step in as they should in that mode. Sand mode allows me to slide it all over or right around. Giggidy!!!

I still think you want an audi...

But apparently the trinity tuner can enable / disable the ESP:

Re: Extremely Pissed. Traction/stability control in snow.

I cannot believe this POS that I bought to be able to drive places in the snow insists on keeping me on the road and making it possible for me to get places even when the roads are covered in deep snow! I mean, sh!t all I want to do is spin around and do doughnuts like an idiot in a parking lot! Which is why I bought an SUV with an incredibly advanced AWD system and incredibly advanced traction and stability control system. Damn these bastards for making all this sh!t work so well! I can't stand it when it all is working!

Yes that was sarcasm. Its not a toy. The point of buying a vehicle like this is to be able to GET PLACES in the snow. The system does a great job of helping you do that, as evidenced by your attempts to make the vehicle let you loose control and its refusal to allow you to do that.

If you wanted to do doughnuts in the snow you should have bought a 4x2 Jeep. To me, whats fun about driving the Jeep in the snow is seeing what it can go through without any drama.

The Jeep is just telling you its time to put the long pants on and grow up.
