Greetings,

Very old news. Played out in 2 threads already.

Just remember, the OP has every right to complain.

BTW, the best donuts were served in a 73 Pontiac LeMans. Their is a big difference on how the donuts gets cooked in 2 wheel rear oven vs a 4 wheel oven.

OP whether you like it or not, technology and advancement in today's vehicles and future vehicles, especially the SUV, prevents you to have the most fun. It is a mandate more of the Insurance industry than your politician or the car manufacture.

The bottom line with JGC, it is design to get you your destination as best as possible, providing the conditions allow for such.

Best for now.

That's just painful to watch.
My gramma drives better than that, and she's been daid for nigh onto 20 years.

Luckily no close up of the license plate was taken, as I'd expect Jeep to try to repossess that thing for slander....

The fun ends when technology mandates this..

but so far im much happier with the car when i dont try to do things like accelerate through the turn sideways, because it doesnt unless i punch the gas pedal down... instead i get khhhkhkhkhkkhhhhhh and car is straight again

maybe ill just act like grandpa and drive as if i have 2 grandchildren in the back... i just love gettin me wheels full of snow
It's unrealistic to expect to drift and keep it under 3k rpms. I had a '15 limited as a rental a couple weeks back and had zero problem keeping it sideways in the snow in sport mode.

The way is costly and not worth it especially when you want to keep your warranty. You are going to have to live with its limitations. Unfortunately the GC is not an Audi but is still considered a family car. I have an E46 M3, ESS supercharged beast and previously RX-7- and that is what donuts and drifting is for! There is a reason why you might like to own more than 1 car. Right now, I prefer the civility and class of this vehicle without being challenged at every stoplight. A sign of maturity and the finer things in life

We got about 8 inches last night. In sand mode the Hemi went absolutely nuts in the snow. Endless donuts and some nice country back woods hunting trail driving. Awesome. Zero jeep related complaints.

I just went over 5000 kms and got my first oil change, then took it out for some snow fun... if u dont baby it, it it slides better/more, thats true... just hate keeping it in sportmode at 4-5k rms in gear all the time.. my 04 GC did the same at 2.5-3k rpms...

Well it depends on if you got the v6 or not. The 6 don't make the power down low like your older jeep did

yeah you are right on point... had a 4.7 V8 then, 3.6 V6 now... i THINK my car now could take my 04 in a drag race.. but low rpm torgue could be a bit more.. ill work on it.. ordered intake, joe's throttle body, oil catch thing, and thinking about doing borla double exhaust... these things might add a horsie or two...

i wish there was a tune for 91 gas and little mods.. only thing i hear is diablo, but its not a tune, is it..
