I went for a drive in the Jeep and it is sweet! It's got the saddle interior which I love.
So I said i wasn't sure what I wanted to do yet and they said I could take the Jeep home for the weekend and bring it back on Monday. Kind of like "here, take this really cute puppy home and play with it over the weekend and try to give it back to me on Monday".
So the colour is darker than i wanted but still looks "Gray" not black in most lighting which is what I wanted. The saddle does look awesome with the Charcoal. It looks like the dash and other black parts of the interior are the same colour as the Charcoal on the outside. I'm leaning towards taking the deal. I'll see if they'll give me an extended warranty or some free services too....
I've attached some photos...
Smart Dealer ... I'm betting you keep it
. Personally I think the Dark Charcoal is a very distinctive color. It's a lot more exclusive than Mineral Gray because it was only offered on the 2011 model year.
My extra .02 is that the Saddle looks better with Dark Charcoal too.
Don't get me wrong... Mineral Gray is an excellent color - my only real gripe is that greys around that shade are very popular right now, so you will see a LOT of cars on the road with similar coloring.
So ... if it were me, I'd take my mats and savings and make this one the "Jeep to keep".
