Failed Rear Coupler

2011 v8 wk2 AWD overland Quad Drive2
Purchased this last month used with 29k+ miles on it and drove it for about 800 miles with no issues. Put my jetski behind it and got on the interstate and noticed a noise that sounded like I had a louder exhaust. It came and went as I pressed the accelerator and let off. about 50 miles into the ride Bam...lost power and really bad vibration coming from the rear. I made it to my dealership and took some pictures before it was repaired and after it was repaired. The first pic is the after repair. I have had it back for about a week and tonight I started noticing the same noise but no hauling anything this time. I took a peak under there and the rubber coupler is starting to come apart again. The dealership replaced the rear driveshaft and the coupler, but there is something obviously still wrong. In the first picture, the coupler appears warped, but I am attributing this to the height of the jeep since the suspension raises and lowers. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Thanks!

Re: Failed Rear Coupler

The differential and driveshafts don't move with the suspension action with the independent suspension, so that should not be causing the issue. My 2011 had many more miles than that with towing and never had a driveline issue, maybe some other flange or part got damaged from the original failure?
