G'Day

I am currently looking for new tyres for my WK2. People have suggested the Falken Wildpeak AT in LT275/65-18 as a possible option.

Does anyone here have them, and, if so, what do you think? I am replacing Bridgestone D697 in LT265/60-18.

Cheers

My Michelins are worn down...
I'll need new tires before the snow gets deep here in Minnesota.
I've done a lot of research on different tires for the last year and I'm pretty much settled on Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure w/Kevlar tires in the OEM size of 265/60R18 (for the Laredo X package).

Go read the reviews and surveys on Tire Rack.

I have the Falken Rocky Mountain ATS II tires in a 275/65/18. They are very similar to the Wildpeaks and I am very happy with them. They were relatively inexpensive and had great reviews everywhere I read online so I went with them.

I have pics of them on my car posted on "My Garage" page.

Thanks for that.

Tyres here are hard to find and ridiculously expensive, especially in 18".

The Falkens are A$289 each while things like Cooper ST Maxx are A$500 each. The Bridgestone D697s I currently use are A$440. And I need to buy 6 as I carry two spares on outback trips.

It is an expensive mistake if get the wrong tyres...
