Re: Ferrari Powered WK2

It won't happen. Just more juvenile second rate journalism IMO.

Ferrari engines are too expensive to just go around fitting to random vehicles. It would turn the vehicle into a $100k plus purchase. Silly talk.

Re: Ferrari Powered WK2

Agree. No Ferrari engine in a WK2, but I won't be surprised if it shows up in a Maserati BASED on a WK2

Re: Ferrari Powered WK2

sorry but where do you think the maserati engines come from?

If I had the $ or Euros, I would place the order now, but without that stupid alfa grill. more like a grill or airdam from the scaglietti....

Then I would not even be pissed about my 730n anymore because it would be off all the time lol.... Imagine the music coming from such a beast.

Re: Ferrari Powered WK2

Yes, the Maser engines are Ferrari sourced....

Here is the Maserati SUV concept from several years ago, like, circa 2004!!!!.... It wasn't built either.

I've no doubt they CAN build a "Maserati" off the Jeep/ML platform, but no way will it resemble a Jeep, certainly not just a simple grille job like posted above, that's laughable.

Re: Ferrari Powered WK2

I assume you mean X6M?

It's badass yes, but it's useless and horrible to behold

Enormous, yet cannot carry people, cannot carry luggage, cannot go off pavement.

X5M on the other hand, could easily get me in one of those, IF I had a TJ to head off-road with lol

I saw one a couple days ago...it was pretty sleek. Not sure if it was the x6 or x6m. It was very aggressive looking though.....

I agree with you here. More money than you'd pay for a good 5 series, no more room, worse fuel economy, and handling isn't as good (just no way you can make a high center of gravity vehicle handle like a low CG one).
