That's a good question. With four in the driveway we call the wrangler the wrangler, the two GC's are called the jeeps and we call the liberty the liberty. A bit of a
Pain actually lol. But I think SUV is good terminology.

Licensing:
Here in Ontario, I can license it as a car or a truck.
I chose truck.

Personally:
I do call it a JEEP however. If you call it an SUV (or truck) it could be anything.
But there is ONLY ONE JEEP!

No doubt, it's a JEEP. Unique. It's not a truck. I have a Ram with a Cummins...that's a TRUCK!

I try to say jeep. I don't care for "truck" and agree that isn't accurate. SUV sounds stupid. This is my first jeep and suv in nearly 20 yrs so I keep correcting myself from saying "my car" or "the car" and trying to say "my jeep" or "the jeep."
