This is ridiculous not having a way to keep these things off unless you want them. But that's "progress".

Just turn off the Auto-On Comfort setting. Then you can manually turn the seats/steering wheel heater on/off.

I can find no way to keep them off if the temp is below 40F. It's a PITA, and I don't want them to come on automatically, regardless of the outside temp. 40F is nowhere near cold enough to need these things.

This morning my wife went to Wal-Mart. When she got in the car in the garage it was just warm enough not to trigger the heated seats / wheel. When she came out of Wal-Mart after the car sat outside it was, and they both turned on. She was driving on her way home when she noticed both the seat and wheel getting hot. She didn't want to be distracted trying to turn them off while driving. By the time she got home her ass and hands were frying. This is ridiculous not having a way to keep these things off unless you want them. But that's "progress".

There's a setting to turn this off in uconnect.

Done! Thanks again. My page was a bit different. It had boxes to check for, "OFF", "AUTO ON", and "AUTO ON ONLY WITH REMOTE START". Mine is a 2015 with the most recent U-Connect 8.4N update.

Holy crap, there is a shelf in the back of it with more storage room!! Wow. Now I just keep my knife in there with room up front. 😀

Is this shelf you guys are referring to underneath the driver's side seat? Is it the storage unit but only accessible from behind the drivers seat?

Or is it separate?

He be talking about the area where the USB port is center of the dash. If you get at eye level there's a little shelf on top in the back to store little things

Darn....was hoping for one I didn't know about. I found that one when it hid the mailbox key.

Same and same. I actually wouldn't have known about it but for reading this forum! Why did they drop it? For those of us that that occasionally get building materials at Home Depot it is invaluable.
