No insult taken, just teasing with you

Around my parts of the world I rarely see any WK2s and when I do see one it's either a Laredo or a Limited. Haven't seen an Overland yet.

There is a boat load of previous generation WKs though. lol

Re: Flex Fuel

I do not have that badge or anything on my gas cap showing E85. My build date was Oct 2010

I don't know about just the base laredo. But the Laredo in general far out sells all the other (limited, Overland) combined. I'm not knocking any trim level just stating fact.

Re: Flex Fuel

No badge on mine either. I won't be using E85 even though they say you can.

Re: Flex Fuel

I just finished off a full tank of reg 89 octane and filled it up with the e85... just to try it.

I saw an immediate drop in the average MPG via EVIC, but didn't notice much change in performance.

I'm waiting to finish off the tank and see if it's worth using e85 over 89 oct... at 50 cent difference per gallon, it's about 10 bucks cheaper per full fill-up.

I'm guessing it's going to be about the same; i'll report back when I'm done!

Re: Flex Fuel

So I was at the dealer this morning for 8000 mile service for my WHITE GOLD (oh wait, that's a different thread) WK2 and looked at the back sides of at least 30 2011 WK2's. None had the Flex Fuel badge on the hatch. Driving home a WK2 with out of states plates zipped by me and he (or she) had the damn badge. Very weird!

Re: Flex Fuel

AAAA,

I'm not even sure if we can get E85 here(NYS). I'm sure it is all over the midwest.

Re: Flex Fuel

Sorry, I just googled it. There are 5 stations in Albany plus others in area like Clifton Park.

John: This thread is actually about the Flex Fuel badge on the rear hatch, not the fuel itself. I should have been more specific on the topic line. Sorry to all for the confusion.

Re: Flex Fuel

I saw a base laredo the other day with the badge on the back. I think I've seen maybe one other one like that in the past year.

I think i read somewhere that some of the early builds had the badge but then they stopped it. I think thats the same thing with the yellow gas cap, some people with early builds didn't have that either
