Floor Mats

I ordered a 2015 Overland V8 in deep cherry red with brown/tan interior on Saturday after many months of research and comparisons. One question for the group: does any have a recommendation for floor mats to purchase? On the Overland the carpets are tan so I foresee lots of slush and dirt accumulating. Is it worth buying from the dealer or is there a better resource? Thanks!

There is a WeatherTech liner [plastic] that unless the interior dimensions of the '15 have changed from the '14 will fit. It is a dark tan that doesn't try to match.

Haven't looked at Lloyds lately to see if they offer a full coverage carpeted fitment yet.

The WeatherTech will protect the carpet pretty well, but I'd plan on getting a spray bottle of Woolite for the inevitables.

Plus, pick up a pack of Mr Clean Magic Erasors. I haven't ran into anything they won't remove if you use dilute Woolite on them instead of water, then a damp microfiber to clean up.

Re: Floor Mats

I bought a set of clear plastic mats from Amazon to protect the beige rugs and factory mats and they work pretty well I also spray, the carpets and mats with Scotch Guard fabric protector I do that every 4 months or so. I have two kids and have had my Overland for a year now and the rugs and mats still look brand new.

Re: Floor Mats

I bought the rubber mopar branded matts front, rear, cargo and they fit great in my '14 Summit. No complaints.

+1 I have mine on order as we speak. Should be getting them this week hopefully. I'm not a fan of the floor liner look... I prefer an actual mat, but to each his own.

The general consensus I got reading around here was that the Mopar mats are good-excellent as far as fit and finish.

Re: Floor Mats

I had nifty catch all's I'm my wranglers and loved them, they are like the weather tech but have a carpet like substance attached so they don't look so utilitarian. I believe they are now called Lund. I know they make them for the 14's as I am getting a set for winter. Don't have them yet so I can't speak to the color match.

Re: Floor Mats

I added black weathertech mats and the mopar cargo liner (with the jeep logo) to my MY14 Overland (black on black). Wouldn't change a thing after 10 months of ice, snow, salt, mud and sand.

I also bought a second shop vac for the vehicles when I got the jeep. I use it couple of time a month.

Good luck.
