Thanks for the replies. The clam shell is easy to tow but I may be purchasing a 22' 6000 lb TT in the future.


I'm assuming that there will be a noticeable difference with the 3.6L V6 pulling the clam shell and that it would struggle with the 6000 lb TT.

The WDH is require for loads over 3500 lbs/350 lbs tongue weight by Jeep specification. It's not just about trailer length. But most WDH can also be equipped with additional stabilizers which helps with the "sailing".
