Re: For those with the Indigo Blue/Brown Interior, how do you like it?

I have white with the indigo and brown. I love the way it looks, it gets lots of compliments. My only complaint, and it's minor, is the white stitching on the dash reflects on to the front windshield all the time. It's hard to get used to.

We have Indigo with the True Blue and really like it. But have some have said, you need to see it in person, it's not captured in pictures very well. After several weeks with it, I sort of forget it's blue - to me, it's more of a blue-ish gray, except for the seats which are a darker blue, almost black.

I have just Changed my Interior to Black from the Light Color and wanted confirmation I shouldn't have gone with the Blue, so, thank you. I think the Black will stand up much better to the most common, non-removable stains.

If the Carpet of the Indigo was black I might have considered it.

I saw the indigo interior in person and fell in love. Most photos make it look tacky and seemingly faded as well. I was sold in an instant when I saw it with my own two eyes, and I have passed up on 4-5 cars currently on dealer lots just due to their black interiors alone (and a couple more if you include those with the terrible CD player). Despite the wait, ordering was the only way to go for me.

That's funny. You wanted confirmation that at least one person agreed with your decision.

I think most, me included, are very happy with the indigo. Not that that is a reason to get it. But one person says ugly and that convinces you?

Add me to the list of people thinking indigo/brown looks even better in person.

Did I miss it, or have you not looked at the indigo or any interior in person? Did you also just change your order based on a strangers opinion on a forum?

I had no choice to order sight unseen...I ordered mine before there were any on dealer lots. They are everywhere now.

Black will only stand up better to solid black stains. The blue carpet is very blue and would hide a coffee stain as good as black. The indigo will show less dust and grime throughout its life. Just like a black exterior, it will show every speck of dust.

The opinion I was looking for was whether the carpet was blue or black.

I couldn't tell that from any of the photos. Dust can be removed. Oily stains can't. There will be lots of dog hair in the car most of the time and it is not black. But, I can tell when the hair is gone.

Also, I am concerned with the annoying reflection of the stitching in the window. With the black the stitching wasn't contrasting; it didn't even look like stitching in the photo.

Several years ago, I turned in a lease that had a black interior. After my two years, the car was still mint. They sold it as is without reconditioning. As I am preparing my current car, with a beige interior, for resale I am concerned with the stains, not the dust, all of which wouldn't show up with the black. Getting the hair out is harder because I can't see it.

One last point, the Jeep GC will be my 17th car. I have never cared how attractive the colors were in any of the first 16, why should I start now.

Carpet is very dark blue ... but anyway this is about your preference so pick one that you like it the most.

I absolutely love the blue indigo and I receive lots of compliments. It is interesting to see people's reactions. People are not used to see these colors. They expect black or light frost but when they see blue indigo with brown, every one says ... wow that's unique, beautiful! You have to see it in person !

My only gripe with the black interior - I wish they would have used the silver plastic trim instead of the bronze. I think it looks even better.

Re: For those with the Indigo Blue/Brown Interior, how do you like it?

Just ordered my 2014 jgc. Went with cashmere exterior and indigo blue interior. A before I started looking I knew one thing and that was I wanted a black interior. Looks nice and holds up very well to wear and occasional spills of coffee etc. that changed when I saw the indigo blue interior. To others point, you have to see it in person. The other thing I would suggest is look at in direct sunlight. In direct sunlight with doors open the blue really comes out and to be candid I really don't care for this hue of blue in direct sunlight. But when you close the door the color becomes muted. In the dealer showroom the blue is very muted and some parts initially look black. At the end of the day I chose to go this route as I think it is different and looks great in most lighting conditions. I have ordered an overland and if you go with black you get a bronze tinted trim around console, vents, etc. I prefer silver. All said you can't go wrong with black. It's classic. It holds up well. It is dressy. For me the indigo was different and looks great except when you have the doors open in direct sunlight.
